About the GARfield mirror of the UCSC Genome Browser

Welcome to the GARfield mirror of the UCSC Genome Browser. Originally intended as a genome browser for the cat genome sequencing project, GARfield became a full-scale mirror of the UCSC Genome Browser. It provides genomic data for projects of Theodosius Dobzhansky Center for Genome Bioinformatics and is hosted in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The UCSC Genome Browser is developed and maintained by the Genome Bioinformatics Group, a cross-departmental team within the UC Santa Cruz Genomics Institute at the University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC).
